The C3000 is a complete belt weigher which can be used with existing and new installations. The system consists of a robust idler assembly, a belt speed sensor and an electronic controller. The idler assembly is suspended on a strong flexure system and transmits the applied load to a sealed load cell. The belt speed is measured with a wheel which runs on the underside of the return belt. Speed and weight signals are processed by the controller to derive feed rate and total quantity transferred.

Description

The display can be selected to show flow rate resettable total weight or non-resettable total weight from the front panel keys. Settings and calibration data can be accessed with a pass number. In application where the belt speed variations are insignificant, the controller can operate with out the tachometer pulse signal.

Dynamic Tare

Once started by simple push button operation when the belt is running empty, the system automatically totalizes the weight both +ve and –ve. Over a number of belt movements pulses. When complete it adjusts the weigher is entered.

Dynamic Calibration Check & Recalibration

Once similarly started by a push button operation, a known weight is passed over the weigher, totalizing is stopped and the total is observed to make the calibration check. To make a recalibration the known weight is entered.

Auto zero adjustment

The internal dynamic zero is automatically adjusted by a small amount whenever the unit is running within the mean band range

Digital Outputs

An output pulse that may be wired to one or more of the totalizing counters produces a pulse for every pre-set quantity transferred over the weigher

Trip Output

An output trip which is activated when the flow rate is above a preset value is available as an optional extra

Dead Band Adjustment

A control parameter determines the minimum flow rate below which the indicator ceases to totalize.
