A complete range of full size weighbridges, for weighing trucks and
other vehicles of all sizes.
These
rugged weighbridges may be run from a 12 volt dc battery, 110 volts ac or
220/240 volts ac. A range of indicators and computer software is available
to get the best use from the weighbridge, what ever the application.
Facilities
such as automatic tare, tally roll or ticket printouts, automatic number
sequencing, large external display and traffic light control are all
features which may be specified at the time of ordering the weighbridge.

Construction
Rugged design to be used in the

Electronics
The
weighing cycle on all Ton-Tel weighbridges is controlled by intelligent
electronics making the weights highly accurate every time. If a vehicle
drives over the weighbridge without stopping then no weight will be
recorded.
We are able
to supply kits of electronics together with plans of the platform to allow
local manufacture of the steelwork. This saves money in the fabrication
and transport of the system, whilst giving the customer the most up to
date scale with all the features of a modern electronic system.

Loadcells
Each
weighbridge has either 4 or 6 sensors which actually detect the weight on
the platform. They are high precision stainless steel loadcells which are
sealed with welded caps to protect them in service. The robust design
ensures a long working life and is maintenance free. The high reliability
of the loadcells means that we are able to offer long warranty and low
cost maintenance contracts. |

Other
Equipment
Vehicle transponders are available
for easy automatic identification and recording of weights. Either road
loops can be installed, or the driver can have the tag and pass it in
front of a cab height antenna. Magic eye sensors for each end of the
platform ensure that the vehicle is fully on before weights are taken.
